Job Summary

• The LPN is accountable for coordinating the overall nursing activities on a day-to-day basis, tours, assessment of potential residents.
• Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place to meet safety/regulatory bodies for assisted living.
• Supports Avera Sacred Heart Health Services' goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting departmental goals.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the health service's Catholic and Benedictine heritage, and its values of hospitality, respect for others, stewardship, dignity of work, stability and justice.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience required. 1-2 years' experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current LPN licensure in the state of SD or "multi-state privilege" to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside required.
• BLS certification required.

Work Schedule

• 10am-6:30pm, every other weekend/holiday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $22.75 - $31.25 per hour
