We are recruiting highly reliable, dependable, energetic individuals for our after school program in Austin (78744). As an After School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in implementing our program curriculum, creating a positive environment, and fostering a rewarding experience for both children and their parents.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children.
• Foster a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere for children.
• Actively participate in activities and interact with children to ensure their well-being.
• Establish and maintain open communication with parents and school staff.
• Build positive relationships to enhance the overall experience for children.
• Demonstrate exemplary behavior and appearance as a positive role model for children.
• Stay updated with industry best practices through ongoing training and educational sessions.
• Continuously enhance professional competence.
• Perform other tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or higher.
• Pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 6:00, including early dismissal days.
• Child care-related education background is preferred.
• Technology literacy and the ability to learn new programs.
• Ability to lift and move supplies to after-school sites.
• Ability to motivate and engage children, managing behavioral challenges.
