KVC Health Systems is Hiring a Relative Care Specialist Near Kansas City, MO
Job Description
The Relative Care Specialist is a professional position that develops program objectives aimed at enhancing efforts to link youth with relatives, leveraging family finding strategies, and sustaining ongoing support for relative caregivers.
The Relative Care Specialist oversees monitors, and directs the agency's utilization of Relative Care. They will conduct comprehensive assessments, including initial walkthroughs, home study evaluations, and background checks, to facilitate relative placements.
Location:
- Client Service Area 1: Kansas City, MO
- Client Service Area 2: St. Joseph, MO/Maryville, Mo
- Client Service Area 3: Warrensburg, MO
Schedule:
- Hybrid-Remote Flexibility: The majority of your tasks will occur remotely or in the field, with 1-3 days designated for in-office responsibilities.
Compensation:
- $43,500 - $46,000 annually, depending on education and experience.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services field.
- Two (2) years of experience working with children and families in the social services field; which should include at least one (1) year of experience in case management with child welfare.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services field.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old to apply.
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Valid auto insurance
