THE ARC OF BUTLER COUNTY is Hiring a Clinical Director (RN) Near Butler, PA

The Arc of Butler County is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Director to join our team! This is an administrative position involving the oversight of services provided to individuals with disabilities

Examples of Work Performed:

· Supervises the Family Living Specialists and the Community Habilitation Specialists

· Attends as many ISP planning meetings as possible and coordinates the implementation of the residential service identified in that document

· Provides consultation to Program Coordinators, Residential Program Supervisors, Family Living Program Specialists, Community Habilitation Specialists and direct care staff regarding resident program plans

· Assists Residential Program Supervisors, Program Coordinators, FLP Specialists and Support Housing Specialists in working with families, the BSU, advocates and providers

· Assures compliance with regulations and proper maintenance of resident records including full chart reviews twice a year with findings’ reports submitted to the Residential Director.

· Serves as a liaison with other provider agencies responsible for resident services

· Facilitates the Intake/Discharge/Transfer Committee meetings

· Serves as the Point of Access liaison with BSU and other referral sources

· Coordinates all admission/transfer/discharge activities to ensure smooth transitions for all residents and staff

· Assesses staff training needs-coordinates with management team regarding those needs, determines resources and facilitates training opportunities for staff including, but not limited to special client needs’ training, annual medication training and annual money management training

· Maintain medication administration certification, CPR certification and Certified Investigation certification.

· Coordinates the Incident Management Procedure including the Certified Investigator’s database, maintains certification as an investigator, monitors the status of all reports and investigations and prepares draft reports for the Residential Director

· Attends meetings as required by the Residential Director including, but not limited to staff meetings at houses, represent the agency at community meetings and develop a schedule of regular visits to all residential program sites.

· Coordinate development and implementation of all behavioral support and crisis plans.

· Develop internal system to ensure all required ISP reports, meetings and documentations are completed in a timely manner.

Minimum Education and Experience

Licensed Registered Nurse as defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing - preferred three (3) years experience working directly with persons with disabilities.
