Seeking Compassionate FNP for Skilled Nursing Facility (San Juan Capistrano, CA) - 2 Days/Week, 13-Week Contract

We're seeking a motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team at a vibrant Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in sunny San Juan Capistrano, CA. This 13-week contract assignment (June 15th, 2024 - September 15th, 2024) offers the perfect blend of schedule flexibility and meaningful work.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions for our SNF residents.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients and families.
• Document medical records accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree in Family Nurse Practice (MSN-FNP).
• A valid California FNP license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting (preferred).
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Time management skills to effectively manage a busy patient load.

Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour
