Byrna Technologies is Hiring a Production Team Lead Near Fort Wayne, IN
Position Overview: The role of the Production Team Lead at Byrna Technologies is to be a problem-solver, coach, company advocate, and trainer. This role is accountable for department safety, quality, and productivity. Your focus will be on organizing and motivating the team to maximize productivity & efficiency.
Role Requirements:
Communicates regularly and effectively with team about failures, solutions, and other challenges.
Responsible for quality related issues and testing results.
Create and post assembly instructions to help improve quality.
Create troubleshooting chart for different areas of assembly.
Help implement approved engineering changes, updates, and revisions.
Supervise assembly productivity as needed.
Monitor KPI’s communicate goals and expectations to team members.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
All other projects and duties, as assigned.
Additional Tasks:
Ensure shift employees are following safe work practices and procedures consistently and completely.
Train shift employees in proper procedures, coaches them to improve results, and evaluates performance
Prep Line for day-to-day & product changes
Ensure 5-S standards are maintained.
Skills:
Problem solving/critical thinking.
Using current technology (new tools and skills).
Resourceful problem solver with proven ability to bring quick resolution to challenging situations.
Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with hourly associates, management, and peers.
Ability to communicate to multiple levels of the company.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity in working with intricate parts
Ability to work overtime with short notice.
