Our Growth Team in New Hampshire is seeking a Manager, Community Partnership Development, to facilitate services on/off-site with our clients, community partners, and healthcare providers. The Manager, Community Partnership Development is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy designed to drive growth efforts in the state while supporting BLP’s mission and values; specifically, the Manager, Community Partnership Development will both maximize utilization of BLP’s existing community partnerships and referents as well as advance the development of new growth opportunities. The Manager, Community Partnership Development leverages existing referral relationships and community contact to increase BLP’s growth trajectory and leads maintenance of those relationships on an ongoing basis. The Manager, Community Partnership Development will supervise other Community Outreach team members in Massachusetts and work closely with the Marketing, Central (Intake) and Operations Teams throughout the organization to ensure optimal customer service is delivered to external stakeholders, internal teammates throughout the organization are kept apprised of relevant state resources for our members, and appropriate marketing materials are created and available for all Growth and Outreach activities in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities for Manager, Community Partnership Development include, but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate and communicate the core values of Better Life Partners while upholding the organization's mission.
  • Participating in recruitment to include hiring, training, and supervising of other field staff associates
  • Identify community organizations that are aligned with our mission to explore potential growth partnership opportunities
  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including community organizations, businesses, government agencies, healthcare providers to expand our network and enhance referral pathways.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement effective outreach initiatives and strategies to increase membership
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and stakeholders responding to inquiries and providing necessary information or support.
  • Collaborate with potential partners to identify opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, and joint initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, events, and partner sites arriving early to set up for meetings and events to raise awareness of our services.
  • Provide community outreach and information and conducting presentations with confidence
  • Assist with and maintain documentation of meetings, events, and functions
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of efforts into Salesforce daily
  • Actively participate in team, calls and meetings and offer potential solutions to obstacles incurred
  • Assist the counseling team by facilitating group therapy meetings
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Travel regularly within the State of Massachusetts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health, Health Education, Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling, or other closely related healthcare focus.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in community outreach, community relations, marketing, sales, social services or related field is required. Experience in the field of substance use disorder treatment is required, experience with MAT/MOUD programs is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the public, articulate ideas and engage with partners. Experience and demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining effective and collaborative working relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds, communities and organizations.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders (customers, staff, community partners, elected officials, etc).
  • Solid basic computer skills (Google Workspace, e.g., Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Maps) and be internet and social media savvy.
  • Flexibility with their schedule, including night and weekend availability, with the ability to regularly travel for outreach events and meetings, including occasional overnight travel throughout Massachusetts.

This is a hybrid position. Work is completed both in-person (in the community or BLP work site) and remotely (work from home).

Hybrid position requirements:

  • Must be in commutable distance to [office location].
  • Must have a valid driver's license, access to your own means of reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Must be willing to regularly travel within Massachusetts.
  • Must have internet service with minimum upload/download ability.
  • Company will provide equipment (laptop, monitor, mouse and headset) plus a remote work stipend.
  • Must have a quiet, confidential space to speak to members with minimal background noise.
  • Must understand the importance of protected health information and ensure any data/information is not visible to others.
This is a full-time, exempt position. The starting salary range for this position is $61k - $89k annually.
