About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager with a proven track record of managing offshore resources and delivering successful digital products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mobile and web app development, AI-driven solutions, and the ability to lead projects from conception through to completion. This role demands a strong focus on management, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and Manage Multiple Projects: You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle for multiple mobile apps, web apps, and AI-driven solutions simultaneously. This includes managing various stages of the projects, from initial scoping through to development and launch.

  • Collaborate with Offshore Teams: Work closely with offshore designers, software engineers, and quality assurance testers to ensure project success. This involves clear and continuous communication to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.

  • Product Scoping and Planning: Take an active role in assisting with product scoping and the creation of detailed project plans. This includes defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required, ensuring that plans are robust, clear, and actionable.

  • Communication and Coordination: Utilize Jira and other project management tools to keep projects on track and within budget. Maintain continuous communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.

  • Quality Assurance and Documentation: Collaborate with engineering teams to oversee development work, ensuring projects meet quality standards. Develop and maintain project documentation and SOPs, facilitating a smooth development lifecycle.

  • Agile Methodology and Design Collaboration: Facilitate the development lifecycle, from concept to launch, while working within Agile methodologies. Leverage Figma and other design tools to collaborate with UI/UX teams, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly design.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with Product Management: Demonstrated experience in product management, specifically with mobile apps, web apps, and AI-driven solutions. A proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: Proficiency in Jira and other PM tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and effectively context-switching as needed.

  • Leadership of Offshore Teams: Previous experience managing offshore teams, including designers, engineers, and QA testers. Excellent communication skills, capable of conversing effectively with clients, engineers, and QA teams.

  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively in a fast-paced development environment.

  • Documentation and Planning: Experience in documentation, including creating SOPs and project plans. Strong emphasis on detailed project scoping and planning to ensure clear goals and objectives.

  • Design Collaboration: Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools, such as Figma. Ability to collaborate closely with design teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

  • Industry Experience: Prior work in a software development firm, with a history of client management and project delivery, is highly preferred.

  • Job Title: Product Manager

  • Salary: $100,000-$140,000 DOE

  • Work Schedule: This is a full-time, remote position requiring the candidate to work 40 hours per week. Candidates are expected to work within or near Eastern Time Zone hours. The schedule is flexible, Monday through Friday.
