Join us as a Warehouse Technician in our Kansas City, KS location.
You will be responsible for receiving materials, transporting, stocking, and preparing shipments. You will also work from bills of materials and operator mobile equipment to load and unload materials.
Location Description:
Pentair's Kansas City business is leading manufacturer of custom and engineered to order pumps for commercial, fire, industrial and infrastructure markets for both water and wastewater applications. Pumps include, vertical turbine and vertical turbine fire, solids handling and submersible solids handling, vertical turbine solids handling, propeller, vortex and ANSI pumps.

More details about the opportunity:

• Receive work assignments, verbal and/or written instructions form supervision.
• Receive material to be transported, stocked, dispensed, painted and prepared for shipment or obsolescence.
• Work from bills of material, blueprints, process and shipping documents, written procedure or verbal instructions.
• Operate mobile equipment to load, unload or transport material and equipment throughout plant and deliver or pickup purchased goods, etc. outside of plant premises as instructed.
• Perform operations such as receives material, check for damages, quantity, conformance to order prepare receiving report.
• Accumulate and deliver parts for machine ship, assembly line, shipping department and stocks materials in racks, bins, etc., maintain location and quantity files for predetermined parts.
• Checks and adds fuel, oil or water to mobile equipment as necessary and perform minor servicing to vehicles, such as change tires, check battery, etc., as required.
• Occasionally be required to work in the classification of Utility Blast Operator, and Deburring Operators, as directed.
• Prepare production card or log sheet and turn into supervision.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in the company computer system. Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Report defective material and equipment to supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to read bills-of-material and blueprints, as well as follow written or verbal instructions.
• Must be able to operate forklift, overhead, hoist, and hand trucks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
