Wage Range: $80,000-$100,000 Annually annual discretionary bonus

The Lead Project Engineer will help to develop, train and implement policies and procedures for the operations department and provide training support to new and current project engineers and/or project coordinators in the following areas:
Construction Management:

- Document Control

- Setting up Projects & Budgets

The Lead Project Engineer will act as a go to person for the day-to-day questions that arise from project engineers or project coordinators and implement standard policies and procedures with project managers, project engineers, project coordinators, and other groups interfacing with the operations department, providing consistency amongst the departments.
The Lead Project Engineer will offer support to the group in various ways including managing the training matrix with new project engineers or project coordinators, following up with project engineers after job reviews to discuss items that need corrected or reviewed on their projects and visiting job site teams to review any items that come up for our remote working project engineers.
Other duties that will be the responsibility of the Lead Project Engineer will consist of initial project set ups, if no project engineer has been assigned to that project yet, CCIP enrollments & management, warranty job support & maintenance, and other project engineer tasks as deemed necessary. This role will be fluid with partial time as a lead project engineer and partial time as a project engineer for a particular project manager or project.
This role will not have any direct reports.
Qualified candidates will possess the following education and experience:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent relevant industry experience of at least 3 years.
- Working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Windows and Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in HVAC & Plumbing equipment/systems applications. Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and structural drawings preferred.
- Viewpoint, Bluebeam & Procore knowledge a plus.
