Position Summary:
Performs duties necessary to maintain cleanliness of campus buildings; assists in arranging furniture and equipment; maintains equipment and materials.
Primary Duties Performed:
Performs custodial duties to maintain cleanliness of campus buildings: cleans restrooms and fixtures; sweeps, scrubs, mops, buffs, and waxes floors; dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork and metalwork; cleans and empties waste receptacles; washes windows; cleans classrooms, chalkboards, white boards, etc.; vacuums and shampoos carpets; may clean vents and registers. Assists in arranging furniture and equipment for special events; may set up or take down equipment when needed. Assists with meeting set-up/break-down, risers, staging. Maintains equipment and materials.Moves furniture. Reports safety and fire hazards and maintenance deficiencies.May assist Grounds during weather emergencies Performs other job related duties as assigned. |
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and custodial experience. Valid driver's license |
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of one (1) year custodial experience in an educational or non-profit setting. |
Salary Range: $17.00 Per Hour |
