The Genesis Alkali Summer Hire Program is an exciting seasonal opportunity to gain real-world work experience in a 24/7 chemical processing and distribution enterprise. For 12-14 weeks beginning in May, a small group of summer hires will be invited to work alongside our employees in multiple departments across our site.

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least one completed year (a minimum of 24 credits) from an accredited two-or four-year community college, college, or university, and
• Full-time student at an accredited two-or four-year community college, college, or university with a minimum of 12 credits for Spring 2024, and
• Full-time enrollment at an accredited two-or four-year community college, college, or university for Fall 2024 OR a May 2024 graduate with an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited two- or four-year community college, college, or university, and
• Be in good standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, and
• Ability to fit test for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and
• Dependent child, stepchild, grandchild, or step-grandchild of an active Alkali employee, retiree or deceased employee

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Area of study relevant to our operations, including but not limited to mechanic, electrician, and engineering.
