South Carolina Federal Credit Union is Hiring a Specialist Near Charleston, SC

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking ATM Specialist to join our team of outstanding professionals in North Charleston, SC.

Duties include but are not limited to

  • Support branches, contact center, and other departments with ATM processing, debit, credit cards and Card Operations processing questions and issues via email, member diary, or telephone.
  • Fulfill member diary requests in a timely manner.
  • Support the Facilities department and IT with new ATM installations and relocations by coordinating the appropriate vendors.
  • Monitor and review ATM check deposits daily. Ensuring check image verification and deposit review, and place member account holds and, send member notification.
  • Notification to Risk Management of fraudulent or abusive deposit activity to include card restriction.
  • Daily check balancing to include researching and resolving any out-of-balance conditions.
  • Maintain and coordinate supply orders for all ATMs including delivery to cash vendor.
  • Monitor and review ATM device statuses as needed.
  • Manage and place cash orders for entire ATM network.
  • Maintain cash inventory for assigned ATMs daily.
  • Process ATM disputes and adjustments by correcting members' accounts and submitting adjustment requests via debit card vendor software.
  • Research and resolve with appropriate Card Operations staff, all outstanding GL exception items for ATM disputes, ATM deposits, cash recon, withdrawal and ATM drawer cash and other related daily out of balance conditions.
  • Research and resolve ATM and debit card exceptions. This includes monitoring and resolving EFT reports and Lynxgate exceptions.
  • Maintain captured card log of all cards retained at SCFCU ATMs, status the cards and destroy under dual control.
  • Monitor and resolve entire ATM network outages.
  • Monitor cash vendor servicing to account for accuracy and any related ATM fault resolution. This includes ATM servicing errors, receipt paper faults, tracking and resolving for billing and servicing purposes.
  • Coordinate service calls and maintain regular contact with vendors such as, Cash vendor, Lynxgate, and debit processor
  • Perform as back up to other Card Operations staff and manager when needed.
  • Presents all items requiring attention to Manager.
  • Cross-train as needed.
  • Provide administrative services to the Team Lead, Card Operations Manager, or VP of Card Operations as needed.

Minimum qualifications include

  • Possess a minimum of two years of similar or related ATM or Debit Card experience in a service work environment.
  • Possess the ability to provide superior member / customer service.
  • Possess the ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, procedures, guidelines and practices
  • Possess the ability to consistently deliver accurate and thorough work.
  • Possess the ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess the ability to maintain confidential information and handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Possess demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Possess proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft office applications, to include Excel and Access.
  • Possess proficient mathematical skills.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

NOTE : Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
