Banyan Global is a women-owned and managed international development consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Banyan Global operates seamlessly across five practice areas: economic growth, youth, gender, health, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

Banyan Global is seeking a short-term expert with extensive experience in workforce development and private sector engagement to provide intermittent consulting support to USAID’s Partnership for Productivity (PADU) Activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on workforce development (WFD) and private sector engagement strategy development, ensuring they are integrated with systematic change principles and address future needs through AI-enabled PSE solutions
• Finalize a Private Sector Engagement Toolkit, including advice on maintaining these tools as a dynamic, living document on a government-managed online platform.
• Provide the USAID PADU team with advisory support on refining a scalable PSP Toolkit through crowdsourced input from Indonesia’s TVETs and WFD expert
• Support the USAID PADU team with advisory assistance in presenting the project to new stakeholders, including the development of high-level graphics that depict the project’s national and sub-national impact.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including experience delivering technical expertise and strategic guidance on USAID-funded WFD and private sector engagement activities.
• Experience designing and implementing WFD-focused private sector engagement strategies that incorporate systematic change; preferably with AI-enhancements.
• Experience designing online WFD toolkits and guides that are widely accessible and easy to maintain by host country governments.
• Experience in best practice learning approaches to WFD, including the use of AI to facilitate learning, outreach and impact.
• Demonstrated familiarity with global best practice WFD, public-private partnership (PPP), and private sector engagement strategies.
• Experience designing and facilitating trainings on WFD and/or private sector engagement strategies.
• Proven track record of establishing and maintaining productive relationships across government, civil society, and the business community.
• Master's degree in international developement, business, or relevant technical area.
• Strong communication skills and full fluency in English is mandatory
