Description

Summary: Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. We are currently in search of a Supervisor Intake Representative that will provide guidance and leadership to the staff in the Intake department. This person would also be assisting the Manager of Customer Service with, work activity tracking (numbers), creation and implementation of new processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process orders for respiratory equipment, including setup and paperwork handling, such as data entry, insurance verification, and routing.
  • Interact with branches and customers, addressing inquiries, orders, and paperwork processing.
  • Familiarize yourself with insurance guidelines and software like Brightree and MyForms.
  • Manage communication channels, including electronic fax distribution and recording complaints and compliments.
  • Support department operations, including attending meetings, providing assistance to managers and trainers, and performing miscellaneous duties as required
Qualifications

Top Candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of medical terminology/billing experience
  • 3-5 years of management/leadership experience
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and producing reports based on computerized record management systems such as personnel activities and information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple priorities

Additional Preferred:

  • Previous experience in HME billing, process and workflow improvement, and team/leadership development is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related degree.
  • Brightree software experience.
  • Bilingual is a plus!
