Amerit Fleet Solutions , one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician in College Park , GA ! The Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician will be responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of heavy duty diesel fleet vehicles. Comprehension of DPF systems, PTO hydraulics, DOT inspections, a/c, electrical, air brakes, and diesel engine diagnostics (with use of multiple programs) are needed when conducting PMs and minor repairs on company fleet vehicles. Experience with semi trailer repair is needed and welding experience is preferred. Computer competency is needed as well to manage part purchasing and work orders.

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 1:00PM-9:30PM

Compensation: Competitive Negotiable Hourly Pay $33-36/hr - Paid weekly, every Friday! PERFORMANCE INCENTIVE BONUS APPLIED WEEKLY! SIGN-ON BONUS MAY BE INCLUDED!

What the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician role looks like:

• Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to vehicles
• Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation

What our ideal candidate looks like: At least 3 years’ experience as an Diesel Mechanic/Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school

• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
• Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills
• Must have own tools
• Must have valid driver's license
