The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will fortify IT security programs. This role involves spearheading cybersecurity initiatives, enhancing threat detection, and ensuring swift incident response. Collaboration with IT stakeholders is pivotal for seamless integration of security measures.

Senior Cybersecurity Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead cybersecurity efforts to combat internal and external threats.
• Define and uphold Security Standards aligned with industry best practices.
• Manage security operations and respond to incidents promptly.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify potential risks.
• Oversee response actions for critical cyber events.
• Establish and maintain a robust vulnerability management program.
• Coordinate cross-team efforts for timely security updates and patches.
• Drive security remediation activities for audits or assessments.
• Design and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Develop internal tools to enhance overall security posture.
• Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and best practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers for incident response.
• Analyze security data to propose operational enhancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel up to 10% within the U.S.

Senior Cybersecurity Engineer Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of network engineering experience.
• CISM or CISSP certifications preferred.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools.
• Proficiency in firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and other security solutions.
• Experience in cybersecurity documentation and incident response.
• Knowledge of OT/IoT/critical infrastructure protection.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
