**Employment Type** Full-time, pay based upon experience

Commission 30-40 hours/week, on-site

If thats not you, dont apply. **Primary Responsibilities:**

* See vehicle throughout the entire automotive paint refinishing process.

* Ensure vehicles are properly cleaned and dusted prior to painting, to meet the production goals.

* Appropriately tape off and mask off the vehicle for areas that are not to be painted.

* Mixing paint.

* Prepare the painting booth and paint for the assigned vehicles.

* Work closely with other technicians to ensure production goals and estimates are being met on time.

* Refinish repaired exterior panels and new parts in accordance with quality standards.

* Ensure accurate color match by using a computerized mixing scale, color camera, color chips, spray-out cards, etc.

* Sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.

* Return the vehicle back to factory specifications.

* Perform other duties as assigned by management.

* Paint correction.

**Physical Demands:**

* Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

* Healthy vision required for close, distance, and depth perception.

* Capable of lifting and moving body panels regularly.

**Required Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* 3-5 years of automotive painting.

* Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.

* Must own standard body repair tools (other necessary tools, including paint supplies, will be provided.)

* Must know core refinishing and paint procedures.

* Refinishing customer vehicles to pre-loss condition by accurately following work orders while diagnosing and reporting any additional damage found.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* I-Car/ASE Certifications are preferred.

* Further training will be offered for areas of needed education.
