This location is a Distribution Center. Overtime opportunities are available throughout the summer months. Throughout June- September will include mandatory and overtime hours based on needs of the business.

Rate of Pay: Base $19.50 Plus $1.50 Shift Differential if working 2nd or 3rd Shift

Work Hours: 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift or Weekend (Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon)

Location: 5550 W 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268

As our Forklift Operator 1 you will:

* Operate Forklift equipment, to move materials and finished products

* Scan containers to ensure system accuracy

* Inspect your forklift on a daily basis and service the batteries

* Process departmental paperwork

* Use a computer to utilize the internal company COMN system for job information

* Receive training to help advance your career

Required Skills:

* Must be skilled in handling controls for starting, stopping, backings, and driving fork lift or clamp truck through aisles in building, up and down ramps, and in and out of railroad cars, trucks, etc.; and, for lifting, lowering, and tilting forks by moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to operate controls

* Must be able to recognize whether the fork lift truck is able to lift the load and whether the load is properly balanced

* Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
