- Keep all costs in the Housekeeping Department at or below our budgeted guidelines (wages, operational supplies etc.)
- Oversee the day-to-day operation in areas relating to the Housekeeping Department and to administer the Supervision of all the Housekeeping staff in conjunction with the Director of Housekeeping
- Assist in general inventories for cleaning and guest supplies, recording all stock and maintaining control of all issuing.
- Assist and ensure daily room inspections are completed and follow up is completed with room attendants and supervisors
- Monitor time and attendance ensuring all employees adhere to break policy.
- Inspect and ensure cleanliness of public and heart of the house areas.
- Create and assign special projects where needed ensuring physical product is up to 5 star standards.
- Maintain operating equipment care and maintenance program.
- Assure that the Housekeeping Department operates according to the policies and procedures set forth by PHM
- Must Have 2-3 year experience as Housekeeping Manager in a hotel or resort of 300 plus rooms
- Be above the rest in service, lead others in creating memorable experiences
- The ability to ensure that hotel policies and brand standards are followed
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- The skills and experience to lead a team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service
- Developing the leadership qualities of all staff
- Maintaining positive relationships with Team Member
