What is Sunroom?

Sunroom Rentals is on a mission to improve the way people lease homes. Since we launched, thousands of renters have found their homes through our easy-to-use app. We enable renters to self-tour properties and apply online, and we arrange in-person tours for homes which cannot be self-toured.

Our Story

Sunroom Rentals was co-founded by the founders of Favor Delivery, Ben and Zac. We closed our series A in the spring of 2021. Press release here. We have raised over $11 million from top-tier investors including NextGen, Gigafund, Draper Associates & Founders Fund. Our investors have also backed the likes of SpaceX, Tesla, and Facebook.

Our headquarters is in Austin, TX, but we have a distributed team of 30 talented employees.

Did you recently move to San Marcos or South Austin and have a current Texas Real Estate License? Are you currently licensed in Texas and inactive? Are you newly licensed in Texas and want to debut your real estate career in the San Marcos market? 

Sunroom sources the pre-qualified leads making us the one for you! Our ideal candidate is someone who is an outgoing, fun, personable, driven and organized. We’re looking for an agent who will thrive on receiving loads of free, qualified leads and developing long-lasting relationships with these renters and potential future home buyers!

This person is already, or wants to be well-versed with the Greater San Marcos area and knows how to be resourceful. We are seeking someone who has a flexible schedule,and ideally, who is located in San Marcos or nearby.

A few things you'll be doing: 

• This is a field role. You'll conduct showings for renters who wish to tour Sunroom-listed homes that not set up for self-tour.

• Meet in-person with clients to tour exclusive Sunroom listings.

• Develop the leads we send you, by showing them other potential homes for lease or sale.

• Communicate with our HQ Support team and assist with tour feedback.

Compensation: 

• Guaranteed per tour pay, in lieu of commission, for Sunroom Listings ($30/tour, $10/no-shows) - whether they sign the lease or not!

• Zero marketing, brokerage or desk fees! 

• You must be a current licensed Texas Real Estate Agent. 

• 1-3 years of experience in the real estate industry; preferably doing leasing.

• A flexible schedule including some weekend availability is preferred, since this is often when renters are available to tour homes. 

• Reliable transportation is needed and a solid understanding of the Dallas market is a plus.

This is a part-time opportunity.
