Summary: The TM Operations Manager will assist the Treasury Management Department Head with the day-to-day operations of the department. This role will supervise the Treasury Management Support Specialist(s) (TMSS) and department interns. Will oversee client support that is provided in the form of product training, conflict resolution, account research, exception reporting and documentation requests. Will provide all product and operations training to new Treasury Management Sales Officers and TMSS(s) in the department. This role will advise the TM Sales Officers on available products, services, pricing, options. They will be the liaison between the Department Head and Deposit Operations to ensure product implementation and system programming are completed. The Operations Manager will also be the liaison between the Department Head and third-party vendors. The Operations Manager will provide department support by creating and tracking data for management.
Essential Duties:

• Supervision of TMSS(s) and interns; oversee hiring, conflict resolution, performance reviews, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide product and procedural training for Treasury Management Sales Officers and TMSS(s). This includes but is not limited to; all documentation, implementation, installation, and customer relations.
• Supervise operational workflow in the Treasury Management department. Accountable for reviewing and approving the TMSS's work including; quality control, billing, customer request templates, and customer interactions. Will seek approval from manager on pricing changes outside of standard process.
• Monitor all credit approvals for RDC annual reviews and conduct bi-yearly audit checks on the department to ensure all guidelines are being met.
• Delegate operational tasks to those in the department based on workflow and needs.
• Work closely with Department Head on department strategies, procedures, projects, and new initiatives. Help to maintain positive customer relationships.
• Manage vendor relationships including FISERV, BottomLine Technologies, Centrix for problem research. Work with IT for product development. Attend vendor meetings for new products and features. Provide feedback and guidance into the vendor selection process.
• Visit clients onsite or communicate remotely to resolve inquiries, problems, and follow up regarding the implementation of Treasury Management services.
• Ordering of equipment for installs i.e. scanners, security tokens, installation software and licenses.
• Create sales reports to track Sales Officers prospects, deposit growth and fee income for Department Head.
• Review customer billing to ensure all contracted fees are programmed correctly.

• Oversee TMSS team - that they provide customer training (implementation and onboarding) on how to utilize Business Banking Online, ACH, Positive Pay / ACH DBF, Wire and RDC Services as well as any other TM services.
• Conduct annual risk-related reviews on customers utilizing Remote Deposit Capture services. These reviews are done in conjunction with our Credit Underwriting Department. Provide oversight on the development of other TMA's conducting these types of risk related reviews.
• Assess client's risk tolerance for ACH/RDC limits. Work closely with clients, Treasury Management Sales Officers, Business Bankers and internal departments in completing the set-up of Treasury Management products and services.
• Work closely with Deposit Operations on transitioning new and existing account relationships to Treasury Management services.
• Review and research competitor bank statements in order to prepare sales presentations and to properly identify the needed recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree in business or related field is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years of Treasury Management Product or Operations experience
• Previous banking and customer service experience is required
