Part-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Saturdays Only

We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant for a part-time position, working Saturdays from 8AM to 1PM. This role is perfect for someone passionate about orthodontics and looking to contribute to our mission of providing outstanding dental services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in orthodontic procedures and adjustments.
  • Prepare and managing treatment areas and patients
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist and maintain accurate patient records
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver a seamless patient experience

Requirements:

  • DANB Infectious Disease Certified or DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
  • Proficiency in taking dental x-rays
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
  • Proficiency in dental software and computer skills
