We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant for a part-time position, working Saturdays from 8AM to 1PM. Responsibilities:
- Assisting in orthodontic procedures and adjustments.
- Prepare and managing treatment areas and patients
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver a seamless patient experience
Requirements:
- DANB Infectious Disease Certified or DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
- Proficiency in dental software and computer skills
