Saz’s State House is seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Help maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. 
• Act as a role model for professionalism and culinary excellence, leading by example in all aspects of kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for food and cooking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures, including food safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

This is a full-time position with access to our full suite of benefits including insurance, 401(k) and PTO.

Starting wage of $20-$24 per hour.
