The Inventory Control Specialist maintains accurate inventory records and ensures sufficient inventory levels to meet demand. They will oversee inventory control procedures and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
* Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for ROI
* Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
* Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet demand
* Analyze inventory data to identify patterns and trends and make recommendations for inventory optimization
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement solutions
* Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's inventory management system
* Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other key performance indicators
* Attributes consistent with company culture: safety, customer focus, integrity, continuous improvement.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Bilingual - Communicate (English/Spanish) preferred
* Preferred: Intermediate Microsoft Office Programs i.e., Excel, Word
* Customer service skills. Able to relate well to all internal and external customers
* Analytical aptitude, commitment to accuracy and quality, problem-solving skills, attention to detail
* Strong organizational skills and accuracy
* Forklift certified

Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
* 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field
* Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong organizational and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience with DOT HAZMAT, shipping & receiving preferred
