As the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving lead generation and developing campaign strategies to promote our services to businesses. Responsibilities

Lead Generation Strategy:

  • Deliver MQL’s.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive B2B lead generation strategies to drive business growth in partnership with our “lead generation” BDR team.
  • Utilize market research, industry trends, and customer insights to identify target markets and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and generate high-quality leads.

Customer Journey / Customer Experience:

  • Understand the Customer Lifecycle: Gain a deep understanding of the customer journey from initial awareness to post-service engagement, identifying key touchpoints and opportunities for enhancing the overall experience.
  • Develop Customer Personas: Create detailed customer personas based on research and insights to tailor marketing efforts and service delivery to meet the diverse needs and preferences of different client segments.
  • Map the Customer Journey: Map out the entire customer journey, including all interactions and touchpoints with the company, to identify pain points, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Align Marketing Strategies: Develop marketing strategies that align with each stage of the customer journey, focusing on building awareness, generating leads, nurturing relationships, and fostering loyalty and advocacy.
  • Integrate Marketing and Service Delivery: Collaborate closely with service delivery teams to ensure that marketing messages align with the actual client experience, delivering on promises made and exceeding client expectations.
  • Implement Feedback Loops: Establish mechanisms for collecting feedback from clients at various stages of the journey to gather insights, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Leverage Technology: Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms to track customer interactions, personalize communications, and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Empower Employees: Train and empower employees across the organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that everyone understands their role in supporting.

Campaign Development and Management:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote our professional services to our target industries.
  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning for campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
  • Utilize a mix of digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, events, thought leadership content creation and other channels to reach potential clients effectively.
  • Assist with client nurturing programs.

Content Strategy and Creation:

  • Drive targeted content strategy and oversee the creation of high-quality content, including newsletters, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, videos, social content and more.
  • Ensure content is tailored to target different stages of the buyer's journey and aligns with overall marketing objectives.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to develop content that showcases our expertise and addresses the needs of our target audience.
  • Sales enablement and marketing automation.
  • Explore and implement AI-driven tools for content generation and personalization.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI technologies in marketing.

Website Management:

  • Understand the Target Audience: Gain a deep understanding of the company's target audience, their needs, pain points, and preferences to ensure the website content and design resonate with them.
  • Define Clear Objectives: Define clear objectives for the website, whether it's to generate leads, showcase expertise, provide valuable resources, or facilitate client communication, aligning them with overall marketing and business goals.
  • Optimize User Experience (UX): Prioritize user experience by ensuring the website is intuitive, easy to navigate, and mobile-responsive, providing visitors with a seamless and engaging browsing experience across devices.
  • Create Compelling Content: Develop high-quality, relevant content that educates, informs, and engages visitors, demonstrating the company's expertise and value proposition while addressing the needs and concerns of the target audience.
  • Implement SEO Best Practices: Optimize the website for search engines by incorporating relevant keywords, meta tags, and structured data markup, improving visibility and driving organic traffic to the site.
  • Integrate Lead Generation: Implement lead generation strategies such as contact forms, downloadable resources, or newsletter sign-ups strategically throughout the website to capture visitor information and nurture leads.
  • Utilize Analytics: Utilize web analytics tools to track website performance, including traffic, engagement metrics, conversion rates, and user behavior, gaining insights to inform ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Stay Current with Design Trends: Keep the website design modern, visually appealing, and aligned with current design trends to maintain relevance and leave a positive impression on visitors.
  • Ensure Compliance and Security: Ensure the website complies with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, and prioritize security measures to protect visitor data and maintain trust.
  • Continuously Improve: Regularly review and update the website content, design, and functionality based on user feedback, analytics insights, and evolving business needs, striving for continuous improvement to enhance the overall effectiveness of the website in supporting marketing objectives.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain and strengthen the company's brand identity within the professional services tech industry.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, design, and brand representation across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Monitor brand perception and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
  • Oversee the company website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for SEO.
  • Continuously improve the website's performance and user experience with Mindgrub’s development team.

Performance Analysis and Optimization:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing and lead generation campaigns and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts, utilizing data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize performance.
  • Continuously iterate and improve marketing strategies based on insights and results.

Requirements

  • Candidates in the DMV who are within driving distance to the Baltimore office preferred.
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing roles, preferably within the professional services or tech industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing lead generation strategies that drive business growth.
  • Highly skilled with Inbound Lead Generation, Strategic Development, and Email Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Experience managing teams and external agencies/vendors.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms, particularly HubSpot and Google Analytics.
  • Expertise in creative tools such as Figma for creating visual assets.
  • Demonstrated experience in partnership building, market research, and sales enablement.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and lead high-performing marketing teams.
  • Industry experience in Retail & Hospitality, Utilities, Education, Health & Wellness, Cyber, or Government Contracting is a plus.
