Activities/Life Enrichment Director

$40,000 Annual Salary

North Village Park, LLC a 164 bed skilled long-term primary medical care facility located in Moberly, Missouri, has a challenging opportunity for an experienced Activities/Life Enrichment Director. We are looking for an energetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills to manage the Activities/Life Enrichment department.

Successful candidate must be a team player and lead by example in how to create and function in a team environment. This hands-on position will involve the planning, organizing, developing, implementing and directing the activity programs for this facility. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a written record of initial assessments and progress notes. The director will supervise, coach and mentor the activities staff in order to create and maintain a viable activities program. In addition the position will require developing, planning, and organizing a program for therapeutic groups including teaching the program to facilitate optimal rehabilitation and health of residents. The Life Enrichment Director participates in discharging residents, development and implementation of activity plans of care and resident assessment. The director must ensure that an on-going program of activities is available to meet the interests and the physical, mental and psychological well being of each resident.

Must demonstrate leadership and relationship building in order to foster cohesive teams to support all community activities, events and outreach.

Requirements include previous long-term care experience (preferred), a desire to work with individuals eighteen years of age to geriatric and help enrich their lives. Must be creative and have an outgoing/dynamic personality.

Duties Include (but are not limited to)

· Assist with dinning needs
