Position Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling products by following blueprints or diagrams. You will ensure that all products are safe and meet quality standards before they are delivered. Your keen eye for detail will help you identify any flaws and defects in the products. If you have excellent manual dexterity, an eye for detail, and a passion for assembling products, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time opportunity, M-F 7:00am-3:30pm, with occasional overtime opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Read and understand word documents and simple drawings, with general computer knowledge and basic knowledge of reading excel spreadsheets
• Assemble parts using hand tools and power tools including but not limited to torque wrenches and screw drivers
• Measure, cut, and shape materials to the required dimensions
• Fit and align parts to ensure a perfect fit
• Test and troubleshoot assembled products to ensure proper functioning
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain and organize work area and tools
• Follow safety procedures and regulations

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/specifications
• Ability to use standard measuring instruments in both English and metric
• Knowledge of assembly techniques and processes
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to use basic fabrication tools such as jigs, fixtures, drills, and saws
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow specific instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Must have good vision, with or without the aid of vision correction.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; and talk or hear. May be required to perform repetitive tasks, sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
