Tramec Plastics and Composites, a division of Tramec Holdings is currently seeking an Operations Associate for their molding operations located in Elk Grove Village, IL.

This position requires on-site presence at our office location and is not eligible for remote work arrangements. 

Shift: 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm.  

Requirements

Responsibilities: 

• Participate in MRP planning, scheduling, and materials procurement. 
• Provides Plant guidance assessing and recommending solutions for molding press and support equipment maintenance activities.

Initiate Manages and Maintains:

• Corrective Actions.
• Perform thorough quality inspections on incoming materials, components, and finished products/services.
• Utilize various testing equipment and techniques to assess product/service quality, including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspections.
• Assist in addressing quality issues and corrective actions.
• Prepare and conduct ISO and internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality and efficiency.
• Provide support during customer audits and inspections, as needed. 
• Customer Quotations 
• Plant maintenance software. 
• Part specific records and ERP database for new parts and changes using traceable methods (ECN). 

Qualifications:

• Technical knowledge of plastic injection mold processing. (RJG, Paulson or equivalent) preferred.
• ISO 2009: 2015, OSHA conventions knowledge 
• Experience with Automotive PPAPS 
• Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills is a must.
• Spanish Speaking highly preferred.
