Those are a few of the requirements for the Enterprise Communications Creative Director. The Creative Director is a key leadership position within Enterprise Communications, responsible for leading the overall creative strategy for, development and management of multimedia content, including video production, photography, animation, and design to bring enterprise and business priorities to life, enhance corporate reputation, and inspire audiences with best-in-class video, photo, and graphical design. The Creative Director will lead, inspire, and manage a team of videographers and graphic designers and collaborate across Enterprise Communications and with internal business partners to create engaging, high impact multimedia content. This leader will provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities for the creative team to ensure high-quality content production. The Creative Director will lead the creative direction for Florida Blue and GuideWell's communications and play a crucial role in driving innovative new concepts and campaigns, ensuring brand consistency, and maximizing the organization's multimedia and design capabilities. The Creative Director will identify and manage a mix of best-in-class resources including a video production studio, to support clients' internal and external communications needs and ultimately improve awareness, engagement, corporate reputation, and brand strength. This person will work closely with subject matter experts to translate complex health and health industry information into accessible and engaging multimedia content. The Creative Director will interface heavily with the Senior Director Enterprise Communications & Creative Services and producers of all external and internal video productions, including several recurring monthly video series, to drive further enhancements; provide creative direction; and effectively leverage all video production content beyond its original use to connect the dots; enhance storytelling capabilities; and demonstrate Florida Blue and GuideWell's mission; culture; business priorities; strategy; and impact. This leader is also responsible for the end-to-end creative process of video production and graphical design campaigns to include creative strategy, ideation, communication of idea to the completion of finished creative products; guaranteeing the most streamlined, effective and cost-efficient use of time and talent; and alignment across Enterprise Communications to support business partners, enhance capabilities, and take creative services to new heights.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
  • Act as the Creative Lead for all strategic concept ideation, creative, planning, videography, photography, graphic and conceptual needs from the Enterprise Communications and in support of enterprise business priorities team. Triage creative work. Continuously focus on enhancing capabilities, staying abreast of emerging trends/creative techniques/best practices for multimedia content creation/distribution, and creating new opportunities for the creative team to stretch and grow
  • Ensures appropriate usage of multimedia resources across the organization and effectiveness via creative audits and campaign creation, to include accurate staffing plans/client assignments and SOWs. Provide guidance on assets within the data asset management to maintain quality standards and maximize organizational and usage of video, photography, and graphical elements with strong line of site and cross-collaborative usage
  • Manage the entire creative process, providing key input into the development of creative strategy and creative brief, creative development and refinements including writing when appropriate, manage use of internal and external resources and budget, resulting in the production of best-in-class video production, photography, and graphical design elements and communications. Ensure content aligns with Florida Blue and GuideWell brand voice/standards, mission, and quality standards
  • Responsible for appropriate utilization of creative resources. Ensure team has strong strategic direction in the creative brief, production process, and expectations. Thoughtfully and effectively manage creative team’s deadlines. Ensure creation of campaign creative guidelines for all users
  • Drives increased interconnectivity and leveraging of creative elements beyond original use (i.e., develop strategies to utilize internally-focused content externally on social media, etc.) to connect the dots, enhance storytelling capabilities, and get maximum exposure/usage from communications campaigns. Develop strategies for content distribution across various channels, including the intranet/internal channels, organization's websites, social media platforms, email newsletters, blogs, member and provider communications, and other external partnerships/relationships. Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) and track metrics to measure effectiveness
Job Requirements:
  • Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
  • 6 years related work experience. Experience Details: Multimedia content creation, including video production, photography, and graphic design
  • 3 years direct supervisory/management experience
  • History of leading a major brand's creative campaign
  • Experience leading the creative process, creation of a strategy and creative development resulting in the production of effective campaigns
  • Led creative teams including videographers and designers
  • Experience leading and coordinating multiple simultaneous campaigns
  • Knowledge of all types of media production including video, photo, radio, print, Internet and social media required
  • Category experience in communications, video production, graphical design, health care, events, and the Internet
Preferred:
  • Experience with large and entrepreneurial agencies or large corporate marketing groups

Annualized Salary Range: $104,000 - $169,000

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $104,000 - $130,000

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
