HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred. At least 5 years supervisory, highway and/or bridge experience .
Essential Functions

1. Plan, organize and direct activities concerned with Highway construction projects.
2. Manage field operations and coordinate work with subcontractors.
3. Monitor and control project to ensure it is completed on schedule and within budget.
4. Coordinate with Project Manager to order supplies and materials to complete project.
5. Continuously monitor safety and provide assistance in addressing areas and conditions requiring attention.
6. Must have mechanical knowledge, mathematical skills, communication skills and be a team player.
7. Oversee field personnel, schedules and construction operations
8. Highway andor Bridge Experience is required
