Desired Knowledge and/or Skills At least 1 year experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, and general construction experience. Education High School Diploma or GED preferred Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor at industrial type construction projects; assist pipe fitters, performs manual work.
Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
Performs materials handling and storage.
Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the foreman.
Perform other duties as assigned. Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow HALL Contracting of Kentucky's safety, and quality procedures.
Comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements
Identify and fixes mechanical problems
Must be physically healthy to stand, bend, and walk for up to 10-12 hours a day
Working Conditions Frequent exposure to weather, dust and fumes. Occasionally working in high or exposed places. Working in a LOUD noise intensity level. Job Salary and Benefits
* Working days vary between weekdays and weekends
* 40 hours per week
* Overtime is a possibility
