STERLING PERSONNEL is Hiring an Industrial Technician Near Pasadena, TX
Sterling Personnel, Inc. is looking for an Industrial Technician for our client located in the Houston, TX area. The Industrial Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and installing fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment on maritime vessels. The typical schedule for the position is Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM with the necessity to be on call in case of emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of fire extinguishers and related safety equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning fire extinguishers and related equipment.
- Ensure all fire safety equipment meets local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide training to staff on the proper use and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for parts and equipment as needed.
- Be available to respond to emergency calls for malfunctioning equipment or immediate inspection needs.
Requirements:
- FEL-B licenses required
- Valid drivers license required
- TWIC card required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
