About the role

The OTC Collector is responsible for meeting Collection goals and using the NetSuite dashboard, ticketing, and dunning tools. The position is responsible for researching, reconciling, solving, and shepherding customer disputes, related payment blockers, and unapplied transactions. The Collector will leverage reports to run meetings, bridging internal and external stakeholders. Route or resolve customer-related change requirements.

You are:

The subject matter expert in onboarding requirements.
Cash Applications
Customer set-up.
Tax approval process.
Chasing customer for PO.

This position is critical in identifying and validating all customer set-up and flow between systems. This position collects and works with the team to meet collection goals.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Customer Collections
- Maintain customer emails and up to date invoice status within NetSuite.
- Drive and solve payment blockers.
- Participate and or drive meetings as needed.
- Follow collections escalation process.
- Follow dispute resolution ticketing process.
NetSuite cash application
- Post daily cash
- Clean customer account
- Action/research unapplied cash, CMs, short pays and misc. overpayments
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly performance objectives related to process service levels, accuracy rate, first-time issue resolution, transaction volume, and attendance.
Maintain a shared log of critical issues to be resolved and track related IT tickets.
Maintain audit records between all systems.
Month-end accounting processes following Kyriba's close calendar, including reporting or related slides as assigned.
Assist with customer portal loads and portal Set-ups.
Prepare adequate files for internal and external auditors and assist during the audit.
Prompt reply to internal/external emails, including "alias" accounts, emails, slack etc.
Contribute and cover across regions, cash application, account recons, as needed, knowledge transfer (onboarding, vacation, cross-training, etc.)
Assist in special projects as needed.

Education, experience and skills

Education: Minimum Associates Degree, Preferred College Degree
Salesforce and Netsuite experience required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Minimum 10 years collections
High volume data entry experience with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a cross functional team environment.
Sound judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations. Possess above average analytical skills, comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office or Google software suite. Intermediate level, Microsoft Excel skills required.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Ability to balance multiple priorities. Outstanding cross-functional skills

Base compensation for this role is: $62,000.00 - $92,200.00 annual salary. In addition to the base pay this position includes a variable compensation. The role might also be potentially eligible to long term Incentive. The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including candidate profile and ideal qualifications as well as specific cost of living circumstances in some specific locations.
