High School Social Studies Teacher
Job Description:
Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory of Oakland County is seeking a full-time highly qualifiedteacher for the 2024-25 school year. The ideal candidate has experience teaching in asecondary school setting, and hold a State of Michigan Certification in secondary education/social studiesinstruction. OLSM’s start date is in August of 2024. Qualifications/Requirements:
  • All teachers in the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit shall be certified and/or approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan.
  • All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) including all courses and state tests needed to meet credential requirements.
  • Attend a Protecting God's Children workshop and complete a background check with fingerprints.
