Horner Shifrin is Hiring a Project Engineer (Civil/Site, O'Fallon, MO & St. Louis, MO) Near Fallon, MO
Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to work in our Civil Site business unit. This position requires 2 years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Perform detention, water quality, and piped hydraulic design calculation
- Prepare engineering cost estimates
- Prepare project-specific technical specifications
- Review shop drawings
- Perform construction administration duties, including punch list visits and documentation
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to collaborate well with a team working toward common goals.
- Civil Site design experience.
- Critical thinking and analysis
- Experience using Civil 3D CAD modeling
- Experience using StormCAD for stormwater modeling or similar
- Experience using HEC-RAS modeling a plus
- Experience using detention programs such as Hydraflow Hydrographs, PondPack, or similar
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must complete a background check
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Fundamentals of Engineering preferred
SALARY RANGE:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
