Biocoat Inc. is Hiring a Medical Coatings Development Technician Near Horsham, PA

Annual Compensation Range: $50,000-$60,000Biocoat is committed to providing the best in developing, manufacturing, and applying coatings on medical devices. We are a positive and collaborative team with a passion to help improve patient care by producing a safe and efficient product. We have an opportunity for a Medical Coatings Development Technician. This role will support the execution of Medical Coatings Application Development projects by ensuring project activities including inspection, testing, packaging, and documentation are maintained and communicated to relevant associates.Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Inspect and test devices in accordance with standard operating procedures
Maintain testing and inspection projects according to deadlines assigned by the Engineer
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of inspection/testing details to the Engineers according to project work instructions
Provide support and organization of all documentation for the Application Development team to meet and fulfill compliance needs
Communicate cross-functionally with departments regarding inspection, packaging, and testing of customer devices
Document complete details on internal batch records in a descriptive and accurate manner to be reviewed by the Engineers
Attend or initiate meetings, as needed, to ensure timelines are met for projects

Skills & Requirements:

Associate degree or B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other related scientific discipline preferred Extensive laboratory internship experience or High School Diploma with an equivalent amount of laboratory experience is required
Experience in a technical discipline with minimum 1-2 years of experience in a production or project management environment preferred
Computer literacy for standard word processing, spreadsheet (Excel) database.
Strong oral, written, communication and time management skills
Independent; able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal day-to-day direction; keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner; Must be a flexible team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment
Ability to maintain sharp focus, detail oriented, paying strict attention to all elements necessary to coordinate activities required to ensure timely project completion
Ability to conduct performance testing on coated devices.
Performance driven with an understanding of how to work collaboratively with cross-functional team.
