Job Description:Prepare Prepare vehicles for painting.

Duties:

• Read Work Orders to determine areas on vehicle to be prepared and painted.
• Use pneumatic and hand tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, dual action sanders and air guns.
• Remove and replace minor trim parts.
• Sand and feather-edge damaged paint surfaces.
• Clean cars in preparation for paint
• Use tape, paper and plastic covers to mask trim and areas that are not to be painted.
• Maintain tools and equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Wet sand & polish new paint to eliminate runs & dust specs.
• Clean and detail completed vehicles

Skills/Qualifications:

• Familiarity with hand & power tools
• Written & verbal communication in English or Spanish
• Basic safety
• Attention to detail
• Auto Body Training a plus
• ICAR Certifications a plus
• Previous experience a plus

Start pay $16 per hour
