Compensation Range: $167k - $225k

Location: Remote US or San Francisco office

About the role

What you will do:

• Lead end-to-end design process spanning multiple products across desktop and mobile;
• Partner closely with PMs, Engineers, and others as the sole designer on a newly established and exciting squad;
• Collaborate with other product- and brand designers in order to evolve the MileIQ Design System and brand.

Key qualities:

• A strategic doer; someone who is self-sufficient and can execute on a high level, but is also excited to partner and collaborate with others;
• Fast-moving, data-savvy, experiment-driven, has a growth-mindset;
• Strong design thinking skills, ability to work with (and help evolve) a design system; detail-oriented, champion for all things good design, and an enabler of others.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of product design experience in a technology company, supported by a strong portfolio;
• Proven experience designing features from start to finish and across platforms;
• A strong portfolio of work showcasing product design work, including work as a solo designer.

Bonus:

• Experience working in an iterative, fast-paced growth context;
• Experience with and excitement about talking to users;
• Strong presentation skills.
