Do you restlessly search for creative and innovative solutions to make your products stand out from the crowd?If so, then we should talk… Nortal’s Product and Customer Experience team is searching for a Senior Product Designer to deliver a range of design and innovation services for clients in Finland and across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

You will be responsible for overseeing and running digital design activities to make compelling user experiences. The aim is to deliver empowering and meaningful user experiences for digital products and deliverables within the business account at Nortal. This is a multifaceted role that involves working closely with service designers, product management, and members of delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• You will own product design end-to-end: from customer journeys & ecosystem maps to participatory design prototypes & UI-wireframes.
• You will work directly with the delivery team to present and communicate design concepts.
• You will design intuitive experiences and engaging user experiences by taking an active role in user research and testing.
• You will oversee design sprints, workflows and delivery.
• You will present and articulate the design decisions to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• You have 5 years of experience in product design.
• Heavy industry experience is a definite plus.
• You have an excellent knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Miro.
• You have strong empathy for users, and can identify their current and future needs.
• You know how to manage stakeholders' expectations and facilitate discussions across high-risk and complexity.
• You have experience in the product development process starting with user research uncovering pain points and opportunities to detailed UX/UI design specifications.
• You have excellent communication skills to communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively.
• You are familiar with different delivery approaches (e.g. scrum) and project management principles.
• Consulting/agency experience is a bonus.
