Description: Floyd|Snider is looking to add a Project Geologist with GIS experience to our collaborative team. We're looking for someone who exemplifies our commitment to technical excellence, environmental responsibility, and customer service.
The primary role is to execute and communicate key field and analytical activities for environmental investigation and remediation projects in support of client goals. You'll use your knowledge of environmental geoscience for a range of activities on projects for municipal, port, state, and private clients. The role also provides opportunity to use your knowledge of spatial analysis to contribute to a team of GIS professionals, preparing high quality data visualization figures and maps, and supporting other GIS analyses.

Geologists with 3 - 5 years of experience earn $80K - $90K annually and will have the title of Staff Environmental Geologist. Geologists with 6 - 7 years of experience will earn $90K - $97.5K annually and will have the title of Project Environmental Geologist. Floyd|Snider provides employees with a flexible work schedule that includes core hours 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Most staff are expected to work onsite 2 – 3 days per week, depending on their distance from our office.Project work may sometimes require you to work more than your standard billable work week, but Floyd|Snider provides extra time off to recognize this effort. Regional travel is a small part of this role. You won't typically go more than 3 hours away, and we'll cover your expenses.
