POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a Physician or RN, assists in providing patient care and performs selected treatments and procedures.# Updates RN with timely information regarding status of patient in compliance with Patient Services Department policy and other regulatory agency requirements.# Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives.# EDUCATION/TRAINING: High school graduate. Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Certification as a Nursing Assistant. Basic EKG and/or Phlebotomy preferred.# Bi-annual CPR certification required.# ACLS certification within one year of hire.
