Position Philosophy: Now for the serious stuff. This position is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining digital media platforms for the Tax Collector's Office to increase public knowledge, awareness, appreciation, and support of the agency's purpose and values. Defining website and social media strategies, design compelling marketing and public relations campaigns, and providing editorial oversight over the web and social media.

Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in online communications, public relations, computer science, or any related discipline and/or certifications. Supplemented by three (3) years' experience in design, implementations, and maintenance of web and social media sites. Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field and/or industry certifications preferred.
2. Knowledge of social media channels, digital image and content capture. Ability to use analytics and metrics in decision making. Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, resolve issues and respond diplomatically in all forms of communication.

Position requires an extensive depth of expertise and knowledge in specialized functions or business areas that can be used to develop policies and procedures as well as determining efficient and innovative ways to accomplish business strategies.
Work Conditions
Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and material of light weight (up to 20 lbs.). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate visual cues or signals, and to communicate orally and in writing.
Environmental Factors: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
