JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Patron Assistance - Provide direct reference and reader's advisory service to patrons in person, by phone, in the community via outreach, and online; troubleshoot patrons’ technology issues with computers and personal devices. Programming - Design and implement and evaluate appealing teen and tween programs and activities. Collection Development – Maintain areas of the library's YA and youth collections through material selection, assessment, and weeding. Outreach - Act as a liaison with schools, community organizations, and other groups to meet the needs of the community. Promotion, PR & Marketing – Promote the library and the use of its resources to the community, including creating and maintaining flyers, brochures and displays and participating in community events.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Library Science or Master's Degree in Education with relevant library experience required.
