**Produce Team Leader**
Lead our Coralville produce team and deliver outstanding service and products to our shoppers.

**What You'll Do:**
Work in our Coralville store, preparing fresh product and restocking cases as needed.
Actively engage our shoppers providing exceptional customer service.
Direct all activities of the produce department.
Train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate team members in the Coralville store.
Work with outside vendors including local producers and suppliers.
Promote brand and product lines.
Communicate and collaborate with team members and administrative support.
**What We're Looking For:**
Minimum of 3 years in a full-service retail grocery environment as a lead/manager, assistant manager, or senior department staff.
Outstanding merchandising skills with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed New Pioneer product standards (selection and display).
Knowledge of organic, natural, and conventional product standards.
Supervisory experience training, evaluating, directing, documenting.
Ability to read and understand financial statements pertaining to margin and pricing.
Communications skillsgood listener, clear instructions.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands.
Demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments and work as a constructive team member.
**Additional Details**
Position may involve frequent and extended periods of time in chilled and wet environments working with a variety of natural and highly perishable products. There is frequent use of trimming knives, bending, lifting and carrying, and extended periods of creating and maintaining displays and cases, as well as general computer, phone, and office requirements.
Position **requires a committed schedule** to include openings, closings, weekends, and holiday shifts on a regular basis.
**This is a full-time position with a benefits package.**
Salary
**$42,000**
negotiable based on experience and tenure
