Real Estate Director

Overview

The Real Estate Director will assist in the evaluation, selection and development of all prospective trade areas and sites in a targeted Pollo Campero market to help ensure Corporate and Franchise development goals are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand trade area dynamics for all existing stores and prospective development opportunities.
• Assist in writing market plans for all Corporate and Franchise markets.
• Assist in building and managing the real estate pipeline for all prospective Corporate and Franchise new restaurant openings.
• Train and manage Franchisees and brokers to effectively target and develop locations for new restaurant development that meet or exceed brand standards.
• Prepare, assemble, and present all required DevCom submittals for the approval of all proposed Corporate and Franchise construction projects.
• Negotiate leases or purchase contracts for all prospective and existing Pollo Campero negotiations. 
• Manage a network of external partners including brokers, attorneys, engineers and other vendors.
• Participate in Real Estate professional events to act as brand ambassador for Pollo Campero.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Restaurant Management
• 5 to 7 years of experience in real estate site selection. Preferable, in the QSR or Fast Casual market
• Skilled in real estate leasing and purchase contract negotiations.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently in a cooperative, fast-paced environment with experience working alongside the Development, Construction and Franchise functions.
• Possess restaurant economics acumen and preparation of preliminary budgets for proformas.
• Experience in trade area evaluation and site selection criteria.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
