Responsibilities

• Lead the development of our workplace experience as Voleon evolves its approach to hybrid work and global footprint
• Manage the operations of our Berkeley office spaces, including office management, reception and guest services, office maintenance, meeting and event planning, mail, company food and beverage program, space planning and inventory, and other high-touch employee services
• Champion employee experience, partnering with company leadership to foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture. Among other responsibilities, this may include owning elements of employee onboarding, hosting virtual and physical company events and experiences, and leveraging our quotidian events to deepen our culture and cohesion
• Explore and implement workplace programs and technology to improve how our employees work and collaborate with each other
• Ensure compliance with security and safety in physical, remote and digital workplaces, staying informed on legislation and guidance with OSHA, CDC and other governmental bodies

Requirements

• Experience in a service-oriented operations role in a fast-paced environment, including in operations facilities management
• Experience with budgets and general financial management skills
• Interest in project management and ability to use email, spreadsheet, videoconference, scheduling, and word processing software applications effectively
• Occasional travel required (local and interstate)
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Authorization to work in the United States
