**Description**

An Agency Sales Manager primary seeks agency performance. This position will focus on sales target achievements and effective team management. As an Agency Sales Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent salesmanship and team leadership by managing all Commercial Lines Account Managers and independent Producers meeting monthly targets, identifying weaknesses and drawing up improvement plans, marketing strategies, and liaising with major clients.

** In this role you will:**

Demonstrate an advanced level of knowledge of all commercial lines of insurance

Accountable for new business and revenue from new clients

Sales planning and target setting for Commercial Lines Account Managers, independent Producers

Recruitment and management of new sales team members

Training, motivating and development of team members

Analyzing performance and drawing up action plans

Establishing strong relationships with major clients

Obeying agency regulations, guidelines, and policies, and ensuring teams do the same

Researching current industry/market trends and using knowledge for business improvement

Drive resource forecasting for the account from both confirmed opportunities as well as the opportunities in pipeline

** Skills and Experience:**

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field of study

5 years of insurance agency experience

3 years of managerial experience in an insurance industry; similar work environment

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
