Summary:

The School District of Borough of Morrisville is currently accepting applications for a Data Services Specialist. The Data Services Specialist is responsible for assuring the effective and efficient operation of data services within the District, timely and accurate state reporting within the Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS) platform, and continuity of PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS), and Schoology Learning Management System (LMS). This is a Support Staff (Non-exempt) position. For more details, please contact the HR Department to obtain a copy of the job description. 

Education and/or Experience:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
2. Two (2) years of post-secondary education and three (3) years secretarial experience, preferably in a public-school setting, or five (5) years of experience in a position of comparable responsibility.
3. Experience with PIMS, PowerSchool, and Schoology, and Microsoft Excel preferred.
4. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate effectively with students, parents and the community in general.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints.
6. Excellent organizational skills – necessary for multi-tasking.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
8. Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality.

Clearances and other requirements:
