Job Summary:
We are seeking a temporary professional and friendly receptionist to join our team to fill in for a Maternity Leave starting the month of October. The ideal candidate should have HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a courteous manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using multi-line phone systems
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient flow
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Manage front desk operations efficiently
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, preferably in a medical or dental office
- Knowledge of dental/ medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with EMR systems for managing medical records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using office software applications
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
